Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
The finite element Analysis (FEA) is numerical analysis that most widely used method for solving problems of engineering and mathematical models. It is a computer-based tool which has been developed and used long before for simulating and analysing engineering design and systems.
The ASME section VIII division 2 part 5 provides numerical analysis for design requirement and procedure and acceptance criteria. The API RP 579-1/ASME FFS-1 Level 3 FSS assessments may be used to evaluate as per part 5 of ASME section Div.2 for the components that do not satisfy the Level 1 or Level 2 assessment criteria. Procedures are provided for performing stress analyses to determine protection against plastic collapse, local failure, buckling, and cyclic(fatigue) loading. We provide service for both construction and in- service phase.
